Terms of Use

1. Description of the Service

LEGALDIGM is an AI-driven legal information and research platform providing access to legislation, case law, preparatory works, public authority decisions, and AI-generated analyses. The Service includes, inter alia, a legal assistant (AI chat), contract generator, legal database, and digital library. The Service constitutes a professional tool for information retrieval and drafting – not a substitute for individual legal advice.

2. How the Information Is to Be Interpreted

All content generated or presented by the Service – including AI responses, summaries, contract drafts, commentaries, and analyses – shall be interpreted as follows:

• General information, not advice. The content constitutes general legal information and not individual legal advice. No client/mandate relationship arises between you and Lundgren & Partner AB through the use of the Service.
• AI-generated material may contain errors. AI models may misunderstand questions, omit relevant circumstances, or reproduce outdated rules. You are personally responsible for verifying information against primary sources (statutory text, preparatory works, judicial rulings) before making decisions.
• Time-sensitivity. Legislation, case law, and public authority regulations change continuously. Information displayed may have become outdated even if the Service is updated regularly.
• No bar to consulting an advokat. For binding legal assessments, litigation, or matters with significant financial, personal, or criminal consequences, you must instruct an authorised advokat or other qualified legal professional.
• Contract drafts require review. Contracts generated by the Service are drafts and must always be reviewed and tailored prior to execution.
• Cited sources. Where the Service cites statutory provisions, case law, or decisions of public authorities, the source must be checked directly before being relied upon in external communication.

3. User Account

Certain features require registration. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate details and keeping them up to date.
• Protecting your login credentials and not sharing them with third parties.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately in the event of suspected unauthorised use.

4. Permitted and Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to:

• Breach Swedish or European Union legislation.
• Upload content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringing.
• Attempt to circumvent security measures, access controls, or credit limits.
• Scrape, index, or systematically extract content without written permission.
• Use the Service to train competing AI models.
• Resell or otherwise commercially exploit the Service without a licence.
• Input personal data that may not be processed in cloud services (e.g. unlawfully disclosed confidential data).

5. Subscriptions, Credits, and Payment

• Payments are handled securely via Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the next renewal period.
• Credits (tokens) included in subscriptions are reset upon each renewal and do not roll over between periods. Top-up credits purchased additionally do not expire.
• Refunds are issued in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (*konsumentköplagen*) and the Distance Contracts Act (*distansavtalslagen*) for consumers. The right of withdrawal ceases when you begin using the Service during the commitment period, to which you give your express consent upon purchase.
• Price changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance by email or within the Service.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The software, design, trade marks, AI model configurations, and editorial content of the Service are owned by or licensed to Lundgren & Partner AB. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for internal business purposes or personal use. You may freely use contract drafts and AI responses that you generate based on your own inputs – however, the underlying systems and content of the Service remain protected.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted under mandatory law, the following applies:

• Lundgren & Partner AB shall not be liable for decisions you make based on information from the Service, including AI-generated responses, summaries, or contract drafts.
• We are not liable for indirect damages, consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or damages resulting from third-party services (e.g. AI providers, payment processors, or cloud infrastructure).
• Our aggregate liability to you during any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service during the same period, but to a minimum of SEK 1,000 if you are a consumer and mandatory consumer protection legislation so requires.
• The limitation of liability does not apply in cases of intent, gross negligence, or personal injury caused by us.

8. Availability and Service Disruptions

We endeavour to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance, updates, or disruptions at subcontractors (cloud services, AI gateways, payment processors) may temporarily affect the Service without constituting a breach of contract.

9. Personal Data

The processing of personal data is governed by our privacy policy. By using the Service, you confirm that you have read this policy.

10. Amendments to the Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or within the Service at least 14 days prior to taking effect. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Termination

You may terminate your subscription at any time via the profile page or the Stripe Customer Portal. The termination takes effect upon the expiry of the period you last paid for, subject to a notice period of 30 days – access to the Service thus remains available up to and including 30 days after the paid period has expired. A final charge corresponding to one month's fee is levied for the notice period; in the case of an ongoing subscription, this amounts to a total of two debits (the paid period plus the notice period). No refund is provided for the remainder of an already paid period beyond what is prescribed by the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (*konsumentköplagen*) and the Distance Contracts Act (*distansavtalslagen*). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, attempt to harm the Service, or use it in violation of the law.

12. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall primarily be resolved through dialogue. If no agreement can be reached, the dispute shall be resolved by Swedish courts of general jurisdiction, with the Stockholm District Court (*Stockholms tingsrätt*) as the court of first instance. Consumers always have the right to refer disputes to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (*Allmänna reklamationsnämnden*, ARN) or the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
